I have 7 leylandii trees in my back garden of varying height. I would like to bring the height of the shortest down by about 2 metres and then bring down the height of the other trees to the same height, meaning the maximum taken off the tallest tree would be around 8 metres. The reason for this is general maintenance and to protect the trees from wind damage. This works has been advised by a tree surgeon Bell Tree Services).
