TPO 392 Front garden T1 & T2 - 2 x Silver Birch - Fell to ground level. Reason - One tree has a triple co-dominant stem, this leaves the tree very prone to failure in high winds due to weak unions. The other tree has a large burl present. As the irregular growth does not have linear grain, it can create a structural weakness when part of a dominant stem and increase likelihood of failure in high winds. Due to the small green space on the property and amount of diverse and mature trees in the area I do not believe it is necessary to replant on this occasion.
