T1 3 Stemmed Birch tree to be felled. Tree is close to 2 dwellings and is causing cracking to concrete and tarmac surfaces. The tree also has decay in one of its stems which extend over the rooves of the houses.This tree stands between two houses being approx. 17m tall and rooted within 2m of one and 5m of the other. The crown extends 3m over the roof of the house. Thee stump is within 1m of both the tarmac and concrete driveways and thee are substantial visible surface roots. The roots have caused cracking to the concrete driveway and are starting the crack the concrete driveway. There is decay in one of the main stems at approx. 3m height from a previous branch removal. There is also a weak 3 way main union on the dominant stem at approx. 5m height. Given the position and condition of the tree together with the existing damage and potential for further future damage the tree required removal. Fell the tree for reasons explained above.
