2 Holland Close, Morton, Derbyshire, DE55 6HE
Proposal
Mature lime tree in front garden at 2 Holland Close:, DBH approx 50cm. Height approx 12m. , Observations: Tree appears in good physiological and structural condition. However, the applicant's home insurance provider requires that any tree within 5m from the house must be below 10m in height. This tree currently sits within 4 metres from the house walls. Estimated height of the tree is over 12m, meaning that remedial works will be required to reduce the tree's height to within the Home Insurer's requirements. , Recommended works: Reduce height to approx 9.5m (pruning back to appropriate growth points). Crown lift to clear epicormic growth around stem to height of 3 metres. Reduce lateral branches by approx 1 metre. Thin canopy by approx 10%. All green waste material to be cleared away and removed from site. All works to be carried out using BS3998:2010 guidance.
