Hello I am making enquiries regarding the planning application for the green areabehind the houses at the top of rockwood drive . Currently there is a recreational parkand the ww1 raikeswood camp then fields beyond. The reason for our interest is wehave been looking into buying a house on Rockwood drive that backs onto the fieldwhich we assumed would be protected because it the site of a ww1 camp and ofhistorical importance . But the planning map shows that the whole area including thisparticular small field has now been set aside for housing or a school. As you canimagine part of the appeal of the house is that it backs onto a green space. Wewould be really grateful if you could shed any light on the proposed planning for thisarea . Will this field in fact be built on even though it's a site os special interest and ifso will it be a school or housing ? Thankyou for your time we would be really gratefulfor any information.
