Willow Tree Pollard: The large willow tree in the bottom left corner of the plot has outgrown its current location. We therefore request permission to pollard the tree to reduce it to a more appropriate and healthy size. Furthermore the tree overhangs a farmers field, and several boughs are shading ground and damaging the crop underneath. Whilst undertaking the pollard work we will bring the tree back to a healthy and appropriate size and shape, in keeping with the species. Any deadwood will also be removed to promote tree health.
