Beech Tree - middle of the rear lawn. Fell the tree (Reason: because of excessive shading and low amenity value. The tree is now causing shadow across much of the lawn area and borders. The grass around the tree is dying. Our garden has bushes and trees around the borders, partly to protect against the school next door and a former wood yard. The wood yard now has private storage buildings. The tree does not seem to be visible from the village street, and we do not believe that its removal would have any impact on the conservation area. We would like to remove it so that we can regenerate the rest of the garden which is now suffering from the shade. As noted, we have other shrubs/trees around most of the border of the rear garden)
