We request consent to cut back a group of False Cypress trees (G.1) on ther sourthern boundary of 9 St Catherines Road ( bordering Woodcroft Close) that currently overhang the road. We wish to install a chainlink fence around this boundary for safety to ensure that our 15month old son cannot wonder off into the road. The proposed works will cut back only banches that overhang our boundary into the road to the minimum depth required to allow installation of a 6ft high chain link fence. Our hope is that the trees will then grow back through this fence to provide a safe boundary that maintains the aesthetic appearance of the road. For privacy we will also be planting additional Cypress trees to ensure a continuous tree lined boundary to the road.
