T1 The magnolia would be carefully reshaped reducing the height of the crown in particular by approximately half a metre and the two apple stumps standing in the front garden would be removed and machine ground to between 6 - 8 inches below grade. The trees standing along Dereham Road and School Road have been assessed, the ensuing recommendations are listed below. T2 Of the two dead elms standing along Dereham Road one would be removed one to near ground level and the other reduced to live growth in the crown. T3 The ash tree indicated would have ivy removed to approximately 1.5 metres up the stem, allowing the remainder to die off. T4 The decaying ash, which has in the past been topped, standing along School Road and overhanging the wires would be removed to near ground level as it is now in a decayed state. T5 The horse chestnut also along School Road which has damaged limbs over the lines and the road will be reduced in height to approximately 4 metres from ground level and up to 3m reduced from lateral branches on the road side of the crown. T6 Another horse chestnut, with decay at the base one stem having been removed would be dismantled leaving the stump at approximately 3 metres for wildlife.
