Why it was refused

  1. The proposal would be inappropriately located within a Most Sensitive Location, immediately adjacent to Aston Health Centre, and insufficient evidence has been provided to robustly demonstrate that there are no potential alternative suitable sites available within less sensitive locations for the proposed telecommunications equipment. As such, the proposal would be contrary to Policy TP46 of the Birmingham Development Plan, Policy DM16 of the Development Management in Birmingham DPD, Design Principle DP24 of the Birmingham Design Guide SPD , City Notes LW55, LW56 and LW57 of the Healthy Living and Working Manual of the Birmingham Design Guide SPD and the NPPF.
