Tree 1 is a multi stemmed, ivy covered sycamore. One side stem is growing towards the house and should be removed to ground level before it becomes too large. Tree 2 is a single stemmed ivy covered sycamore that is growing towards the neighbouring property as it seeks light. This overhangs the neighbouring garage and should be removed to ground level to remove the risk of it eventually falling on that property as it becomes larger. There are many trees in the garden of Homefield, particularly concentrated in this area and the removal of these two sycamores will not have a noticeable impact on the screen between Homefield and Flint cottage next door nor will it impact the skyline as seen from the village.
