I planted this willow tree in 1982, and it now grown to an enormous size. It overpowers the rest of the garden, and covers the garden in leaves which, as we approach our mid to late seventies have become a daunting task to keep raking up and disposing of. We will employ a tree surgeon to prune the tree to a little over half its present height and girth. It will still be a big tree, but much more manageable. I can't remember the exact details, but we carried out a similar pruning several years ago - with the appropriate planning consent. I have two pictures, both from Google Earth. The plan view shows the location , marked with a pin, and the elevation has the tree in the centre of the frame.
