G2 - 1x Clump of Hazel - Re-coppice to a height of approximately 1.0 metre above ground level to allow the coppice stools to regenerate and produce new, vigorous stems. G4 - 2x Cherry (Prunus sp. 'Cherry'), 3x Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) & 5x Pittosporum (Pittosporum sp.) - Crown lift over boat storage area & shipping containers by removing secondary and sub-lateral branch growth only, to provide a vertical clearance of approximately 5 metres between ground level and the lowest foliage tips, thereby achieving the desired clearance of 2.0 metres from the shipping containers. All works shall retain the natural form of the crown and avoid the creation of large pruning wounds. T1 - 1x Goat willow - Re-coppice to a height of approximately 1 metre above ground level to allow the coppice stools to regenerate and produce new, vigorous stems. T1291 - 1x Wild cherry - Reduce the height of the tree by approximately 3 metres, leaving a final overall height of approximately 6 metres removing annual re-growth only - The tree has previously been reduced, and the reduction is to manage new regrowth to reduce likelihood of failure of new growth and to manage the tree into the long term from the previous pruning points now that a regime has been initiated T3 - 1x Red oak - Dismantle, fell & remove to ground level, wood chippings to be spread neatly over the bank area as a mulch, tree not suitable for position

TPO 1126: T1495 - 1x Norway Maple (not protected by TPO) - Prune secondary & sub lateral branch growth away from the neighbouring building to achieve a minimum clearance of approximately 2.0 metres. All final pruning cuts shall be made at suitable growth points, retaining the tree's natural form & main framework, T1498 - 1x Large Multi-Stemmed Crack Willow - Pollard the tree at approximately 5.0 metres above ground level, removing the upper crown and retaining the main structural framework at the specified pollard height. All final pruning cuts shall be made at suitable growth points where practicable, T1499 - 1x Crack Willow - Pollard the tree at approximately 5.0 metres above ground level, removing the upper crown & retaining the main structural framework at the specified pollard height, T5460 - 1x Crack Willow - Pollard the tree at approximately 5.0 metres above ground level, removing the upper crown & retaining the main structural framework at the specified pollard height & T1955 - 1x Horse Chestnut - Due to the significance and maturity of the tree, undertake a sensitive crown thin, selectively removing a maximum of 10% of appropriate secondary and smaller branch growth throughout the canopy to reduce areas of excessive crown density & encourage the development of the inner canopy. Works shall retain the tree's main framework, natural form and a high proportion of the foliage-bearing structure. For Justification, please refer to the Tree Condition Safety Survey

T001. 1x Pedunculate Oak - Reduce the branches in the upper crown to the north by up to 2 metres. Reduce the western aspect of the canopy, where recent branch failure has occurred, by up to 2 metres. Removal all deadwood from the canopy. All pruning cuts to be made at suitable growth points. All works carried out to BS 3998:2010 Tree Works Recommendations. Justification from QTRA report- I recommend reducing the branches in the upper crown to the north and western aspect of the canopy by up to 2 meters (see figures 2 & 3). This will give good clearance from the roof of the property and reduce likelihood of failure over the property in this area due to dynamic loading from prevailing winds. I do not believe this will reduce the amenity value and if anything will increase the aesthetic form.

Conservation Area Tree Works Justification Group of Western Red Cedar & 1x Lawson Cypress (overhanging Brooklyn Lane) - Crown lift by removing secondary and sub-lateral branch growth only, to provide a vertical clearance of approximately 5.6 m between road level and the lowest foliage tips, thereby achieving the desired clearance. All pruning cuts will be back to the main stems. Trim the remaining roadside branches hard back away from the overhead BT cables to achieve a minimum clearance of 3 metres. All arisings to be removed from site and returned to a Devon Tree Services depot for recycling, leaving the area safe, clean, and tidy. The proposed works relate to a group of 2x Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) & 1x Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) trees located adjacent to and overhanging Brooklyn Lane within a designated Conservation Area. The trees are established along the roadside boundary and have developed low lateral branch growth extending over the carriageway and towards overhead telecommunications apparatus (BT/Openreach cables). The purpose of the proposed works is to provide appropriate highway clearance and maintain safe separation from overhead infrastructure, whilst retaining the overall form, health, and amenity value of the trees. A crown lift to approximately 5.6 metres above road level is proposed through the selective removal of secondary and sub-lateral branches only, with all final pruning cuts made back to the main stems where appropriate. This will achieve suitable vertical clearance for vehicles using the lane, consistent with accepted highway clearance standards. In addition, selected roadside branches will be pruned back from the overhead BT cables to achieve a minimum clearance of approximately 3 metres, reducing the risk of future contact with telecommunications infrastructure and preventing ongoing maintenance issues. The proposed works are limited and proportionate, retaining the primary canopy framework and overall appearance

T1 - Holm Oak - on boundary with 21 Oldenberg Pk - Fell, cut stump down to near ground level. Previously pruned at approximately 2m above ground level in very close proximity to foul water drain and beginning to suppress English Oak, which is also in close proximity to tree in question. T2 - Yew tree (growing from 19 Oldenberg Pk) - Prune lower branches to provide approximately 1 metres clearance from shed roof, this can be achieved by the removal 4-5 branches no greater than 30mm in diameter. Work is required as the tree has small lateral branches that are in conflict with the roof of an outbuilding and starting to cause damage to roof covering.
