The tree proposed for removal is located within the curtilage of 11A The Grove, Southey Street, Nottingham, NG7 4BS. The species is believed to be either an Leyland Cypress ( Cuprocyparis leylandii). The tree is situated adjacent to the boundary wall. This application is for the complete removal of the tree as outlined as T3 within the submitted drawings, including felling to ground level. The removal is necessary due to the tree causing structural damage to the adjacent wall, leading to ongoing safety and maintenance concerns. If required, stump grinding will also be carried out to prevent regrowth and to facilitate potential future repairs or site improvements. The tree is not subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO), and this submission is made in accordance with the 6-week prior notification requirement under Section 211 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
