Proposed single storey and two storey rear extensions. Rebuilding existing two storey wing as a wider pitched roof extension. Installation of new conservation roof lights to both sides of kitchen building. Internal alterations to ground floor including repairing failing floor within lounge and back hall, adding cast iron air vents. Convert old kitchen into Library, remove tiled floor and replace with floating timber floor, remove non-structural ceiling timbers; reduce the projection of the altered fireplace and relocate the stucco fireplace from the existing dining room. Convert dining room into new kitchen. Strip and clean structural timbers, install wood burning stove in loving room, re-plaster and insulate the long hall walls, create new floating floor above the early C20th glazed tiles. Internal alterations to first floor including reordering of master bedroom and ensuite to create a link through the main landing and remove the second staircase to the ground floor. Alter mezzanine balustrade to remove timber posts and rails and include frameless glazing.
