Sycamore (T1) The works will be on land at both 5 and 15 Parkshiel as the tree's trunk is at 5 Parkshiel but overhangs 15 Parkshiel. Both the owners of 5 and 15 Parkshiel wish to have the works carried out. The works desired are 10-15% of the Crown reduction to the western and southern branches. The primary reason for the western branches to be cut is the fact that the branches are getting closer to one of the bedrooms in the house of 15. We have consulted a tree surgeon who is satisfied the tree is safe but we wish to reduce the mass of the tree in case anything were to happen. It is the fact that the main breach/trunk leans towards 15 which makes us concerned.
