The scheduled works to the Mature Ash (T4) that have been accepted by your office (PP-07742930 ) will leave these limes (T1 T2 T3) exposed to prevailing winds. Concern has already been raised about the swaying of these trees in the high winds and there proximity to both West Farm House the Neighbors at 62 and the power lines. T1 - Lime - This bifocated tree exhibits a pocket of rot in its main union. It has previously been braced. I propose a 35% (7m) reduction in height to the previous pollard knuckle. The aim being to reduce sail and weight and improve light. T2 - Lime - This slightly smaller bifocated specimen is situated very close to the neighbors house. It has previously been braced with the main leader showing a slight lean towards the roof of No.62. I propose a similar reduction of 35% (7m) in height. The aim of these works will be to alleveiate sail and weight and light and put the neighbors concerns at ease. T3 - Lime - This is the largest of the 3 Lime trees. I propose a 30% Reduction in height (7m) to alleviate sail and weight. All works to be carried out in midwinter for the benefit of the trees.
