Tree1 Yew tree to fell (due to excessively sized for this site, and the branches which overhang into 2 adjacent properties cause excessive shading and a nuisance due to leaf and berry drop each autumn). Replanting: I propose to replant into the space which the yew occupies, with a fruit tree such as apple or cherry. But am open to suggestions from SCDC Tree Officer if an alternative species is recommended for this site. Tree 2 Tulip tree to reduce by 6 to 8 feet the height and diameter of this tree, leaving it at 28 feet and 18 to 22 feet diameter at the base (due to contact with the end gable brickwork of our property, and with overhead BT cable).
