Sycamore removal owing to the collapse of old flint wall. The collapse followed sever weather and having been pushed out to a lean over a number of years. The Tree is within inches of the retaining boundary wall prior to collapse which previously leant over the highway. It is not possible to rebuild horizontally the wall as it would now abut up too closely to the tree trunk. The tree is in peril in harsh weather conditions of falling onto the highway or other property/persons without the wall in place. The tree sits above the highway. There is no TPO. We have acted quickly to try to mitigate any dangers and do not have a formal report. We can provide a location or sketch.. We would be happy to meet a tree officer on site.
