T1 - Ash - This tree is in good health but is becoming to big for its location. It is beginning to interfere with the overhead power lines and is also causing shading underneath. Concern in high winds about its proximity to the house. I propose an overall crown reduction by 2.5m to suitable growth points where possible. T2 - This tree is in good health but once again is starting to interfere with the lines. It is also affect the light in the house. I propose reducing the height of this tree by 3.5m to below the lines and a 15% thin. The above works will be carried out in the winter.

T1 - Sycamore - This tree has been brutally pollarded about 15 years ago. It is now becoming to large for the garden in question, blocking all the sun light in the summer. Several of the unions are questionable as well due to previous poor work. Recomend a 3.5m crown reduction to suitable growth points where possible. Request a light prune of 0.3m to suitable growth points and removal of any deadwood.

T1- Mature Ash - Causing excessive shading and swamped with Ivy. - Propose removal of Ivy and a 30% (5m) reduction to alleviate weight sail and shading. Crown lift to 7m to reduce interference with telephone line. T2- Mature Ash - This tree has had major limb failure on one side. It is also completely swamped with Ivy which is starting to spoil its form. - Propose removal of Ivy and a 30% (5m) reduction to alleviate weight sail and shading. Crown lift to 7m to reduce interference with telephone line. T3- Prunus - This multi stemmed tree has poor form - Propose removal to ground level to improve light and reduce shading. To be replaced with another native species.

T1 and T2 - Robinia - These trees are growing to large for there location. They are beginning to to cause issue for the Acers and cause excessive shading to the flower beds and summer house below. I propose a 1.5m overall crown reduction to suitable growth points on both trees. This should give the Acers in the middle a bit of room to mature.

T1 to T9 - Mature Poplars - This cluster of mature trees were planted very close together. They are situated very close to the property. Concern has been raised about their proximity and there have been several branch tear outs this year in high winds. These trees are also causing allot of shade for property's on both sides. I propose the removal of deadwood and a 25% crown thin to remove sail and improve light. This work is to be carried out in mid winter to cause minimum impact on the health of the trees.

1. Small Laylandii - at rear of property - to be removed due to shading and low amenity value. 2. Sycamores - Row bordering road - Minor Crown lift (less than 5%) due to shading and interference with buses.

T1 - Walnut tree - This tree is now dominating this part of the garden and concealing the view beyond. It is also causing allot of shade.I propose a sympathetic 20% (2m) reduction to suitable growth points. This work is to be carried mid summer for the health of the tree.

T1 - Ash - This mature specimen exhibits multiple large Innonotus Hispidus brackets thoughout. There are many old brackets that have fallen at the base of the tree suggesting considerable internal decay. Considering the presence of the fungus and the current height and sail of the tree as well as its proximity to the neighbors roof the power cables and main road (directly above) I propose a 30% reduction (8m) in to alleviate weight and sail effect and hopefully avoid branch failure in future.

TPO 0005 (1960) A1: T1 - Ash to fell. (Tree is in very poor health. It has considerable die back at the top and also bark falling away at the base to reveal decay inside. It is also exibiting Inonotus bracket fungus. The fungus is very prevalent in the area unfortunately.) T2 Ash to fell. (The multi stemmed tree is clear dangerous. It has huge amounts of die back in the upper crown and bark is falling away at the base. Several large branches have already fallen. It has, I believe, advanced Innonotus hispidus fungus throughout.)
