APPLICATION FOR NON-MATERIAL AMENDMENT FOLLOWING GRANT OF PLANNING PERMISSION 11/00654/FUL- ERECTION OF SINGLE STOREY PART SIDE/ PART REAR EXTENSION (EXISTING KITCHEN TO BE DEMOLISHED) TOGETHER WITH CONSTRUCTION OF REAR DECKED AREA - TO ALLOW FOR THE OMISSION OF DINING ROOM WINDOW TO SIDE ELEVATION

Proposed bicycle storage, refurbishment and repairs to the roof, installation of photovoltaic panels, replacement of all existing UPVC rainwater goods, SVPS, and services cast iron, alterations to external lighting and fenestration including removal of external fire escape and internal alterations.

Change of use to provide external seating area, external plant/duct to roof and east elevation.

Amendments to planning permission dated 6th February 2024 (RN:23/07813/COFUL) for: 'Variation of condition 1 of planning permission dated 17 July 2023 (RN:23/02017/COFUL) for the Refurbishment and upgrade of the Seymour Centre to provide leisure, swimming pool, library, flexible community/office space, health and fitness studios, beauty treatment rooms and a cafe. Flexible use for leisure, community and events spaces (Sui Generis)'. Namely, to allow enlargement sprinkler tank, relocation of services, refurbishments and associated works at lower ground, ground, first and second floors. (Linked with 26/03371/COLBC)

Erection of flue on roof

Installation of partition at fourth floor between front and rear room, and addition of wall boxing at second floor to house electrical cabling and recessed television.

Refurbishment works to include: removal of the redundant swimming pool tank to facilitate the fitness suite at lower ground floor, relining the existing pool tank, installation of photovoltaics on the inner roof slope, removal of the existing roof lanterns and wind catchers in the sports hall to be replaced with new double glazed roof lanterns and wind catchers and installation of secondary glazing to all the windows in the sports hall, removal of roof lantern above swimming pool to be replaced with a new double glazed roof lantern, retention of the existing courtyard and internalisation of the lower ground level with a flat roof covering, removal of roof lanterns above the martial arts studio to be replaced with double glazed roof lanterns, removal and replacement of existing plant including new ductwork and flue, installation of roof plant enclosures, provision of external private roof terrace (restricted access), removal of existing roof lanterns to northwest and northeast of roof to be replaced with flat roof covering, removal and replacement of existing flat roof coverings, installation of access and maintenance gantries, ladders and stairs on roof, removal of windows to community studio and infill, minor internal alterations to walls and partitions to facilitate the reconfiguration of uses, installation of new handrail balustrades on 4 corner stairs of sports hall, improve accessibility with one lift in each core (4 lifts in total plus three platform lifts at first floor) and two new internal upper staircases on the eastern elevation plus two new internal staircases on the south-west of the first floor, external alterations to some windows, doors and fenestrations replacement of asphalt covering to perimeter lightwell with new covering, removal of some mosaic tiles to create level access to the sports hall flooring, removal and replacement of some ceiling, provision of new chemical delivery hoist from street level to lower ground floor at Bryanston Place.

Installation of new gates alongside Shoudham Street to enclose the three fire escape doorway recesses to the rear of Seymour Leisure Centre.

Proposal to install a rise and fall gate/bollard system at site entry, new gates to access garden areas, new security window to side elevation, replacement of rear retail unit doors, new glazed doors serving the apartment units, new bin storage structure, installation of air conditioning units, new signage over arched entry, repair and smooth render, repainting, replace dappled windows glazing, clean brickwork and tidy cabling within garden area 2, repair render in garden area 3, reconfiguration of layouts and introduce planting within all three garden areas, removal of internal lobby desk and internal doors.

Removal of cellar extension and restoration of arched window, replace conservatory, roof repairs (remove, rebuild & repair) to bring up to modern standards and stop ingress of water, roof tiles will re-used, female wc to have hipped roof, soil pipe to be moved, pebbledash to be repaired/painted and new doors to match existing.
