Planning Application Details - P22/S3004/TPO
T11 - Pedunculate Oak (TPO A1) - Exploratory examination around buttresses and main supporting roots using 'airspade' excavation and appropriate decay detection equipment as necessary to determine structural integrity of the main supporting roots. Subject to findings of exploratory examination; (i). Retrenchment pruning i.e. crown reduction of 3.0-5.0m and reshape, retaining appropriate structural framework to facilitate regeneration and create new smaller crown of good form. Decompaction and amelioration of surrounding growing medium. Or; (ii) Dismantle tree in sections in order to fell to ground level. Grind stump. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed). T7 - Beech (TPO A1) - crown clean and climbing inspection. Assess extent of damage to northerly stem and report findings. T96 - Beech (TPO A1) - climbing inspection including DDT around and between cavities and report findings. Subject to findings of climbing inspection; (i) combined tip reduction and crown thin of 15% to reduce sail, or, (ii) dismantle tree in sections in order to fell to ground level. Grind stump. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed). T148 - Beech (TPO A1) - (i) remove all dw and dieback and implement a crown reduction of 2.0-3.0m of remaining canopy to reshape and reduce sail. Decompaction and amelioration of surrounding growing medium. NB. The tree may not have sufficient vigour to respond to this prescription and we therefore propose to apply for permission for its removal as part of the tree work application i.e. Or (if tree declines further); (ii). Dismantle tree in sections in order to fell to ground level. Grind stump. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed). T81 - Ash (TPO A1) - retrenchment pruning i.e. crown reduction of 3.0-5.0m and reshape, retaining appropriate structural framework to facilitate regeneration and create new smaller crown of good form. T156 - Beech (TPO A1) - clear fallen tree. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed). T162 - Beech (TPO A1) - implement DDT to ascertain extent of any decay. Monitor annually. T103 - Beech (TPO A1) - clear fallen tree. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed) T110 - Beech (TPO A1) - remove hanging branch and any dw. Monitor annually. T115 - Beech (TPO A1) - clear fallen tree. Plant replacement tree (specification to be agreed). T128 - Beech (TPO A1) - remove hanging branch and any dw. Tidy storm damage wounds and crown clean. Reduce 3 main leaders by 1.5-2.0m to reduce wind susceptibility and reshape to improve canopy form. G11 inc T138 to T140 - Beech (TPO A1) - dismantle all 9 trees in sections in order to fell to ground level. Grind stumps. Plant replacement trees (specification to be agreed). Assess ground conditions and implement appropriate decompaction and soil amelioration prior to restocking. T186 - Pedunculate Oak (TPO A1) - remove dead tree including rootball. Assess ground conditions within planting pit and gather photographic evidence. Report findings to CwT. Plant replacement trees (specification to be agreed). Assess ground conditions and implement appropriate decompaction and soil amelioration prior to restocking. Woodland trees WT1 - Beech (TPO A1) - fell to ground level. Remove timber. Spread woodchip thinly (less than 75mm depth) on woodland floor. WT2 - Pedunculate Oak (TPO A1) - crown clean. WT3 - Beech - fell tree but retain standing deadwood habitat monolith at a height of 3.0-4.0m ie. not within falling distance of overhead cable. Felled section to be left in woodland, positioned discreetly out of sight from the access drive. WT4 - Beech (TPO A1) - fell tree but retain standing deadwood habitat monolith at a height of 3.0 i.e. not within falling distance of overhead cable. Felled sections to be left in woodland, positioned discreetly out of sight from the access drive. Spread woodchip thinly (less than 75mm depth) on woodland floor.
