Hornbeam tree. Given the way the tree has grown one of the limbs now overhangs by c.4 metres into our garden (Pear Tree Cottage). We would like to cut this limb so we can plant another tree in our garden to replace the one removed (for which permission was granted). The tree is not owned by Pear Tree Cottage but by 2 Aston Street - I have sought permission from the owners son who is acting on her behalf and he has given his consent. Please note I have not included a sketch plan as it is over two gardens and was hoping the photos should be sufficient given it is only one branch that I wish to cut back to near the main trunk. I have also not sought advice from an arboriculturalist for the same reason that the magnitude of the works is very little.
