T4 Cherry - Remove a large leader branch, the tallest branch of the six leaders. The branch, which has a gash showing disease, is dying and will become unsafe in the future. The branch to be removed leaves the main trunk at 3m height, has a diameter of approximately 40 cm and a height of approximately 17m. G2 Sycamore (G2A) - Remove three lower branches from the south side of one of the four sycamore trees located within Group 2. We shall call the tree G2a. The branches and leaves currently overhang the area we use as our chicken run and the purpose of the proposed work is to allow additional light into this area. The work would raise the crown from approximately 4m to 6m above the foot of the tree. The three branches are each approximately 10cm in diameter and each is approximately 6m in length G1 Sycamore (G1A) -Remove a lower branch and a forked higher branch, all of which fork off from the main branch - on the northern side of the tree. The purpose of the work is to allow more light onto the allotments below. The branch leaves the main trunk at approximately 3m above ground and the total length from main trunk to the end of forked branches is approximately 10m. The cuts would be made at a point approximately 4m out from where the branch leaves the main trunk. The remaining wood has nodules and should shoot and grow leaves. The diameter of each of the three branches is approx 15cm
