However, if when we dismantle the tree the structure wood on the main stem is sound / healthy....we may leave it as a low monolith/pollard to retain some of the tree, amenity but this depends on the risk assessment we make? The client will plant a replacement more suitable species - Field maple , Hornbeam for example.
