Planning Application Details - 2025/1976/TCA
Copper Beech tree on the edge of garden that has grown to approx 20m tall, very close to the roof. Spreads approx. 70% over Church Street road and pavement running alongside the garden wall. Dangerously close to an overhead electric wire that crosses the garden and enters the house. The tree roots have started to cause structural failure to the side of the house as brought to our attention by our RICS surveyor when we purchased the house a month ago. Would like to apply for a crown reduction of 30% as advised by our Arboriculturist to maintain the natural shape of the tree but keep the tree from damaging electrical wires, the house and reduce any issues of falling branches on the road.
