Planning Application Details - T/2025/0082/TCA
Documents Site Layout and Site Layout 1 (JPEG and PDF) show the site location, which is on the boundary of the Junction Lane conservation area and are not really visible from Junction Lane itself - there are no Tree Preservation Orders on the trees. The tree (shown as from the Willow Family) is a 'soft branched tree' which has outgrown the site. The tree is breaking branches in the wind which are falling on and damaging the roof of 29A Junction Lane. The two Silver Birch trees detailed on the Site Layout have grown massively are over hanging the neighbours garden - the neighbour has requested we cut them back and reduce the height. Viking Tree Services, who West Lancashire Council use for tree services has been to the site and confirmed the large willow family tree is to large for the site, soft branched and risks significant damage to the house. They also confirmed the Silver birches require cutting back and reducing in height. Viking Tree Services have recommended c5M off the large willow family tree and cut the silver birches to approximately the same height.
