The application is to remove the tree, as the tree roots have grown through the underground drain pipes and, separately, the tree roots have caused the external boundary wall to crack. The previous owner of 2 Parkfields had the wall crack remediated, however the wall has been damaged again by the tree roots and this will only get worse over time. We will look to plant something more appropriate for the size of the area in the near future.
