T1 1x Mature Beech Tree- Carry out a sympathetic crown reduction Height Reduction - Reduce the overall height of the canopy by up to 3.5 metres, leaving a final tree height of approximately 12.0 metres above ground level. Southern Aspect - Reduce the southern canopy by up to 3.0 metres, with a focus on shortening over-extended lateral branches growing over the garden, whilst retaining the inner canopy structure and foliar density. Eastern Aspect - Reduce canopy spread by a maximum of 2.0 metres to rebalance and contain growth. Northern Aspect - Reduce lateral spread by no more than 4.0 metres, to bring the canopy line back in line with the adjacent boundary wall. Western Aspect - Reduce lateral spread by up to 3.0 metres to draw growth away from the property. All pruning cuts to be made in accordance with BS 39982010 Tree Work - Recommendations, ensuring final cuts are made to suitable secondary or tertiary growth points to preserve the tree's health and promote good wound closure. The natural form and structure of the canopy is retained, resulting in a well-balanced, contained, and aesthetically natural shape. No branch removal to exceed 100mm in diameter unless necessary for structural or safety reasons. All arisings to be removed from site and returned to a Devon Tree Services depot for recycling. The work area will be left in a safe, clean, and tidy condition upon completion. The Beech tree has developed an uneven canopy due to historic growth patterns and environmental influences. The proposed phased reduction across all aspects will reduce leverage on extended lateral limbs and mitigate the risk of mechanical failure, particularly on the northern and southern aspects w...
