Planning Application Details - NP/TPO/0425/0371

Work relates to two trees in the "Group of mature Sycamore" marked as G1 on the map provided on the TPO (TPO_077A). We are requesting to be permitted to 'fell a dead twin stem sycamore on a roadside boundary.' It is angled across Oaks Lane and if it did fall would block the road. We were therefore advised by all three arboriculturalists that viewed the site that it should be taken down. The second tree is a hollowed sycamore in the same group, again close to the roadside, where we are requesting permission to 'reduce the tree to approximately 6-9m to retain habitat.' We are further requesting permission, due to the location of the tree to be felled (in a cluster of mature sycamores and on a boundary wall) not to replace this tree.
