Planning Application Details - 17/00221/CN04
Application for the approval of the details of the external lighting as reserved by condition 4 of planning permission ref 17/00221/FUL for change of use of land for equestrian use, erection of stables and store shed and formation of a menage We are using black rubber which is Uncoloured and sieved 8-20mm recycled rubber tyre chipping, made from used vehicle tyres, mainly because of the below benefits: . Minimising leg concussion risk by offering a level of protection for feet and tendons . The equestrian rubber resists frost to around -5 degrees giving a truly year-round riding experience . Very little maintenance as or annual replenishment as the rubber does not decompose, break down or blow away . The chipping aids surface drainage. Condition 3 Materials for the external facing of stables/store shed We are using 16mm overlap pressure treated cladding, this will not be painted in any colour and will be kept wood colour Condition 5- Lighting for the menage We would use 4 x pole mounted 200w metal halide, asymmetrical floodlight with no upward light pollution. These will be in each corner of the menage and be fitted on a pole. Condition 6 storing and disposal of stables waste We will be storing the horses muck in a neat pile behind the stables and then this gets removed every 4-6 months by our local farmer who spreads it on his fields.
