Planning Application Details - DM/2026/00379

We have three old gas boilers, two of which have been condemned, and we would like to install two Air Source Heat Pumps so as to be more sustainable and emit a fraction of the greenhouse gasses that we have been doing. The units will not be physically attached to the fabric of the building, but we will need to drill through the external wall to connect the hot water pipes. We have submitted pre-application DM/2026/00267 and have been advised by Sarah Jones that "The Heritage Team would not require listed building consent for the new pipe runs as these are minor enough to be classed as de minimise. We also plan to install battery storage to further enhance the sustainability of the solution. The battery equipment is planned to be installed in a basement room.
