Planning Application Details - 25/00171/TREECA
T1 Aspen - 30% crown reduction and thin, take back away from the drive, leave a natural and round shape. T2 Larger Birch - Reduce to the same height as the neighbouring birch, reduce over extended tips in line with the rest of the canopy. T3 Acacia - Next to pine, reduce growth away from the pine by up to 1 metre. T4 Lime - In rear left corner of garden, crown lift to approx. 3 meters, crown reduce by up to 2 meters and thin. T5 Mature Scots Pine - In the centre of the rear boundary, dismantle, process and remove and replace with a native broadleaf. The enormous height and spread is now causing issues in the garden. The low and dense canopy heavily shades the garden which is affecting what will grow underneath. Pine needles are getting into the rain water harvesting system and clogging the system. This is another justification for requesting the removal of the Scots pine in the rear garden. Replanting with a fastigiate purple beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Dawyck Purple')
