For all treework and felling as specified in attached Tree Management Report for the purpose of the restoration of the fishing lakes. Oak T1 Pollard crown in two stages as follows: Stage 1- Remove lower overhanging branch structure to a height of 12m, leaving 1m long stubs, preferably to an epicormic growth point if available. Reduce two long lateral limbs to the north by 50% to growth points. Reduce the upright dominant leading limb by 2m to natural growth points. Remove deadwood. Stage 2 - (6 years) - Reduce remaining canopy back to 12m and thin reiteration growth. Lime T2 Carefully re-coppice sub-dominant stems without cutting into main stem. Goat Willow T3 Raise the lower canopy to the north over access track to allow a ground clearance of 4m. Goat Willow T4 Raise the lower canopy to the north and east over access track to allow a ground clearance of 4m. Sycamore T5 Raise the lower canopy to the north to allow a 5m ground clearance over access drive. Continue to monitor structural condition of co-dominant stem union. Alder T6 Remove epicormics shoots from the main stem. Beech T7 Fell to near ground level. Oak T8 Fell to near ground level. Beech T9 Fell at the request of the owner to facilitate angling access and reduce leaf debris in fishing lake. Birch T10 Fell at request of owner to facilitate angling access and reduce leaf debris in fishing lake. Beech T11 Fell Mixed species G1 Fell Chalara infected Ash trees marked with a red paint spot. Pollard subsided Yew trees back to the green arrow markings. Fell collapsed and unstable trees marked with red paint spots. Fell Sycamore with basal decay and a weak co-dominant stem union. Pollard early-mature central Sycamore back to green band marking points. Fell two sub-dominant Yews within a group of six adjacent to the lakeside and raise the canopies of the remaining four Yews to allow a ground clearance of 4m. Raise the canopies of the row of Yew trees directly adjacent to the access track to allow a ground clearance of 4m and reduce the canopy overhang to the south over the track by 1m. Mixed species G2 Fell trees marked with red paint spots. Mixed species Lake 1 Fell all trees marked with red paint spots and re-coppice trees marked with green spots. Woodland edge trees Raise the canopy to the south over the access drive to allow a ground clearance of 4m. Fell the small suppressed trees subsiding over the access track to the south. Mixed species Lake 2 Fell all trees marked with red paint spots and re-coppice trees marked with green spots. Manage coppice on a cyclical basis. Mixed species Lake 3 Fell all trees marked with red paint spots. Please see report tree schedule for continuation of proposals.
