The trees in question are Quercus robur situated along the boundary of 44 Ashley Road and the woodland to the east. The 9 trees are early mature specimens that have grown in close proximity to each other and are competing for space. As a result many of the trees have poorly formed crowns. It is proposed to thin the trees back to three specimens spaced along the boundary. The trees to be felled have been marked in agreement with the tree officer following a site visit on November 5th 2024.
