Notice of intent to carry out works to tree in a Conservation Area - Remove a single Crab apple tree to the front of the property. It's branches partly overhang the road which is a narrow lane used by delivery vans and farm vehicles. The tree is often knocked by the larger vehicles which causes the foliage and fruit to be cast around. The apples are inedible and are of no use to any of the horse-riding community within the village. The tree is 5m from the garage and it's branches extend out to about 3.4 metres on that side. The trunk is 2.6 metres from the road and the branches reach to 3 metres on hat side. There is also a sewage pipe which runs parallel to Daw street and lies between the garage and the tree. before it may cause any damage as it grows towards the garage, and would also be very happy to not have to deal with the thousands of unwanted and messy crab apples.
