Notice of intent to carry out works to trees in a Conservation Area -The beech tree has been allowed to grow to approx 60ft and needs pollarding/crown reduction, it needs to be reduced to maybe 30 foot maximum. The walnut tree needs a severe 'crown reduction' reducing it's height by 10ft approx from approx 30 ft presently, the branches over hanging the garden will need taking back as well. The norway fir is 60ft odd in height and growing, this overshadows next doors garden but threatens the cesspit which is only about 3 ft away from it. It needs felling with the roots killed ASAP, Finally the sweet cherry it needs a severe 'crown reduction' and the spur branches need cutting bank drastically to the trunk before they split. It will initially look like a poplar tree until it grows and starts fruiting again after a few years (hopefully).
