Planning consent needed for the Ash Tree: Ash Tree has previously lost it's top, only leaving a couple of lateral limbs. Where the top ripped out, it has left a large wound revealing the hollowed out main stem. We therefore feel the need for the reduction of the Ash to the 7m monolith. Recommendations: Top ash tree with hollow trunk to monolith at 7 metres (Trees along footpath by stream to have major deadwood removed. Inspect for further defects).
