Tree T1 (as identified in accompanying documents) is in the rear garden of the address. It is contributing to a range of issues/concerns, including pressure from neighbours due to leaf litter/detritus, ongoing maintenance issues such as low branches and detritus affecting the adjacent public highway as well as being implicated in a range of structural issues. While re-pollarding was considered, the complications involved in undertaking extensive structural repairs are exacerbated by the presence of the tree. As such, the preferred course of action is for tree T1 to be removed, including stump treatment/removal to inhibit regrowth. Replacement planting of species with lower water demand and slower growth habits is suggested.
