Planning Application Details - 23/02176/TPC

25% reduction in size & removal of ivy as part of routine maintenance and care of trees. An approximate reduction of 1.5m for all three trees. The trees, although adjacent to each other, are of differing heights with a very tall straggly tree in the middle. It is about 25/30m tall and I think it would be safer and look better if this one was reduced to a height closer to the two on each side. I am hoping that a reduction in height and reduction of straggly branches will reduce the risk of storm damage, encourage more proximal growth and improve the general health of the trees. (Amended) Three adjacent Yew trees at far corner of rear garden distant from all roads or footpaths but adjacent to boundary fence of rear garden of Carmans House. These trees have been neglected for many years, need ivy removed, dead wood removed and some reduction in size to encourage fresh healthy growth.
